This year SPD Officer Charlie Edwards and his K9 Remmi came and educated the campers about what K9 Remmi can do. Officer Edwards gave two demonstrations to show K9 Remmi's abilities. K9 Remmi first showed campers her ability to track SPD Reserve Officer Dalton Walter's scent. Then K9 Remmi and Officer Edwards did a mock traffic stop, where K9 Remmi was able to detect a vape on the car of SPD Assistant Chief Ethan Johnson's girlfriend's car (my car).
